From 038f56df227fb21bd6b68c939a96666ad162c50c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: dmiller Date: Mon, 23 Dec 2013 16:49:11 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Genericize OpenBSD fingerprint with bad # character d33tah noticed that the # in "Fingerprint OpenBSD 5.0 GENERIC#43 i386" was being interpreted as a comment, resulting in matches for "OpenBSD 5.0 GENERIC". Looking at this, it appears that no other OS fingerprints put the build number in the Fingerprint line, and this fingerprint closely matches another OpenBSD 5.0 fingerprint. Changed to drop everything after GENERIC. --- nmap-os-db | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/nmap-os-db b/nmap-os-db index ea11bc53d..f71b6a7f3 100644 --- a/nmap-os-db +++ b/nmap-os-db @@ -66390,7 +66390,7 @@ IE(DFI=N%T=FA-104%TG=FF%CD=S) # OpenBSD 5.0 GENERIC#43 i386 # OpenBSD 5.0 GENERIC.MP#59 i386 -Fingerprint OpenBSD 5.0 GENERIC#43 i386 +Fingerprint OpenBSD 5.0 Class OpenBSD | OpenBSD | 5.X | general purpose CPE cpe:/o:openbsd:openbsd:5 auto SEQ(SP=F5-10D%GCD=1-6%ISR=105-10F%TI=RD%II=RI%TS=20|21|22)
