fyodor 1007c60d5a o Added release dates for each version to this CHANGELOG going back to

Nmap 3.00 (July 31, 2002).  Dates are in MM/DD/YY format.  If someone
  wants to track down dates for the last 22% of the file (pre-3.00), you
  are welcome to do so and send a patch.  Searching Google for the
  version number and site:seclists.org seems to work well.

o Also started the process of preparing changelog for next release.

Adding Snprintf() and Vsnprintf() to nbase/nbase_str.c. This is because of Windows' stupid implementation where it doesn't write a NULL byte at the end of the buffer if the result is truncated. I would've just #defined snprintf and vsnprintf to some wrapper function for Windows, but this doesn't work as libdnet and libpcap (and libpcap includes under mswin32) define snprintf to _snprintf and vsnprintf to _vsnprintf like we do, and through the many defines they end up being available in the Nmap sources. Vsnprintf() uses vsnprintf() (and writes a NULL byte at the end if truncated), and Snprintf uses Vsnprintf().

Nsock tracing was done unconditionally in NSE, and that has been changed to only be done when o.scriptTrace() is true.

Fixing the assertion failure: "Target.cc:396: void Target::stopTimeOutClock(const timeval*): Assertion 'htn.toclock_running == true' failed." This was caused when a target had scripts in multiple run levels. The problem was the time-out clocks added for --host-timeout support in NSE (r6657--appears to be present since 4.52). Now the time-out clocks are started before each runlevel execution, which (besides not failing assert) makes more sense because the timer would have been counting even when the target had no scripts in the current runlevel.
